Christian First-Step Family Childcare is...

We are a Christian family childcare based in the city of Hawthorne, CA. We provide the warmth and comfort of a home-away-from-home setting. Christian First-Step Family Childcare is the third in our line of childcare facilities and the first to include religion in its curriculum. We work with children ranging in ages from newborn to 13 years old; we specialize in early learning (newborn to age 5) and prepare them for entering the BIG world of kindergarten. 



At Christian First-Step we not only teach Christianity, we live it! Our facility is founded on scripture and we strive to meet our Calling.

"Start children off in the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

Our goal is to build a strong foundation of biblical principles and moral character in each child, along with a growing love for our heavenly Father as we prepare them for grade school. We pray to positively impact every child and encourage each child's spiritual walk and relationship with Christ. When children leave our facility, we want them to leave knowing who Christ is in relationship to them, have a healthy sense of independence, be academically ready for grade school, have worked and improved on personal goals, as well as have good social skills, and know how to problem solve (essential life skills).

We are a childcare that focuses on the overall child (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual

needs) our focus, therefore, includes their primary and extended family as well. We are here to serve your child, and the persons they care about: You.
